PWN the SAT Q&A • hey! i got 15/19 sentence completions correct in the june sat. i didn’t memorize that many vocab words but i have been paying close attention to sentence structure and avoiding tricky wrong answers. do you think i should still study vocab or just do this approach?

It’s hard for anyone but you to say what the proper balance is. You need to take stock of how many questions you’re missing because you just don’t know the words, and how many you’re missing because you’re not doing a good job anticipating the meaning of the blanks.

If you’re not anticipating well, keep up with your current approach. If your vocabulary is lacking, bone up on your vocab.
